Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh received a delegation of meritorious people from Quang Nam

On the afternoon of June 26, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh cordially received a delegation of meritorious people from Tien Phuoc district - Quang Nam province who visited the capital and visited Uncle Ho's Mausoleum on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27.



Representatives of the meritorious people of Tien Phuoc district expressed their emotion when visiting the capital, visiting Uncle Ho's mausoleum and being warmly received by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh on behalf of the Government Standing Committee.

The members of the delegation also promised the Deputy Prime Minister to continue their efforts to contribute to the construction and development of the locality, setting a good example to educate their children, family members and the community in studying, training, and continuing to promote the revolutionary tradition of their homeland.
After kindly asking about the lives and health of the members of the delegation, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh expressed his joy at the efforts of Tien Phuoc district in particular and Quang Nam province in general in carrying out the work of gratitude, ensuring and taking good care of the lives of families of war invalids, martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
The Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that the work of repaying gratitude and taking care of families with meritorious services is a fine tradition of the nation, a major policy of the Party and State, showing deep respect and gratitude for the sacrifices and losses for the peace and independence of the Fatherland.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that the Party, State and Government are actively reviewing and perfecting preferential mechanisms and policies with the aim of further improving the lives of people with revolutionary contributions.

Tien Phuoc is a poor mountainous district of Quang Nam province. After two wars, the whole district has over 22,000 meritorious people, accounting for 29% of the population. Ten out of 15 communes in the whole district have been awarded the title of Hero of the Armed Forces.
Despite suffering heavy consequences of war, a purely agricultural economy, and frequent natural disasters, the entire district has strived to do a good job of repaying gratitude, taking good care of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, wounded soldiers, relatives, martyrs and families with meritorious services to the revolution.
