(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 16, comrade Phan Xuan Thuy - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department visited the Nghe An Newspaper Office to inspect the propaganda work of the 110th anniversary of the birth of General Chu Huy Man (March 17, 1913 - March 17, 2023).
Working with the Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, on the side of Nghe An Newspaper, there was comrade Ngo Duc Kien - Party Secretary, Editor-in-Chief; Deputy Editors-in-Chief and representatives of leaders of departments and organizations.

General Chu Huy Man's real name is Chu Van Dieu, born on March 17, 1913, in Hung Hoa commune, Vinh city. Growing up, deeply feeling the chaos of society under French colonialism and feudalism, Chu Van Dieu participated in the Nghe-Tinh Soviet Movement 1930-1931 as a red militia and became a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
During his participation in the revolution, comrade Chu Huy Man was closely associated with the armed forces. His military talent was associated with many resounding victories of our army and people in the two resistance wars against the French colonialists and the invading American imperialists.

General Chu Huy Man's contributions helped build the Vietnam People's Army into an increasingly strong and comprehensive force. He was a general in the hearts of the people, a communist who devoted his whole life to the cause of the Party, the Army and the Fatherland.
In order to honor and recognize the great contributions of General Chu Huy Man to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese people, the Ministry of National Defense presided over and coordinated with the Central Propaganda Department, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Nghe An province to organize the 110th anniversary of General Chu Huy Man's birthday on March 17, 2023, in Vinh city with many meaningful activities.
