Nam Dan Department of Education and Training received Official Dispatch No. 473/PC.BD/BNA of Nghe An Newspaper and Official Dispatch No. 2287/SGD&DT-TTr of Department of Education and Training, regarding Nam Dan Town Secondary School incorrectly collecting the following amounts: Security fee of 50,000 VND/student, electricity fee of 10,000 VND/student, clean water fee of 10,000 VND/student.

On October 15, 2012, the Department of Education and Training of Nam Dan district sent Report No. 104/BC-PGD to Nghe An Newspaper as follows:
At the beginning of the 2012-2013 school year, Nam Dan Town Secondary School held a conference with the Executive Board of the Parents' Association to develop a plan to collect 3 additional fees: security fee, electricity fee, and clean water fee to support the school in protecting facilities, creating better conditions for children to study and live in daily life. The Town Secondary School made a report, and the Town People's Committee agreed to collect the above 3 fees in Notice No. 12/KL-UBND dated August 24, 2012.
Knowing this information, on the morning of September 28, 2012, the Department of Education and Training organized a timely inspection and required the Town Secondary School to only collect fees within the regulations.
In compliance with the direction of the Department of Education and Training, the Town Secondary School held a meeting of the Parents' Association Executive Committee to agree on the fees according to Official Dispatch No. 1787/SGD&DT-KHTC dated September 3, 2012 of the Director of the Department of Education and Training and to inform the fees to parents and students of the whole school. At the same time, the Town Secondary School does not collect security fees of 50,000 VND/student, electricity fees of 10,000 VND/student, and clean water fees of 10,000 VND/student.
