Prevent and stop illegal gambling, football betting and racing

In the past few days, the final round of the 2012 European Championship (EURO 2012) was broadcast on VTV2, VTV3, VTC - Vietnam Radio and Television Station.
To proactively prevent and stop illegal gambling, football betting and racing during the 2012 European Championship finals in the province.
The Provincial People's Committee requests:
1. Provincial departments, branches, sectors and organizations: People's Committees of districts, cities and towns shall step up propaganda work so that cadres, party members and people do not participate in gambling, football betting and illegal racing activities during the 2012 European Championship finals. If signs of gambling or football betting are detected, it is necessary to promptly coordinate with the police force to prevent and strictly handle them according to the provisions of law.
2Provincial Police:
- Proactively grasp the situation; deploy preventive measures to prevent illegal activities; promptly detect, combat and prevent illegal gambling, football betting and racing in the province.
- Direct the police of districts, cities and towns to increase patrols and controls to promptly detect and handle violations of traffic safety and order, especially drinking alcohol exceeding the alcohol concentration, weaving, speeding; organizing large gatherings causing disorder in public places, violating the law...
3. The People's Committees of districts, cities and towns shall direct functional departments and offices to inspect business locations, cultural services, hotels... to prevent large gatherings of people to gamble and bet on football. Resolutely handle cases of business and services related to gambling and football betting.
Upon receipt of this Official Dispatch, the directors of departments, heads of provincial-level departments, branches and organizations; Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, cities and towns are requested to strictly direct implementation; report the results to the Provincial People's Committee for further direction.
