Knowing her family's situation, in addition to visiting, encouraging, and giving gifts on holidays and Tet, the unit decided to collect leftover food every day for her to develop livestock farming. Ms. Hai was moved: “From the unit's surplus rice and food, I regularly raise 2 cows, 4 pigs, and a flock of chickens in the barn, helping my family reduce difficulties and gradually eliminate hunger and reduce poverty. I am very grateful to you guys, uncles…”. In addition, the unit effectively implemented political and current affairs activities, promptly providing all-round information to cadres and people in the area; participated in renovating and upgrading roads; coordinated with the locality and family to build 2 "Great Unity" houses worth over 50 million VND; helped 1 family in difficult circumstances with a support amount of nearly 10,000,000 VND to buy breeding animals and feed to develop livestock; From the "Personal savings for the poor" Fund, subsidized 5 policy families in difficult circumstances in Hung Chinh commune, contributing to helping families stabilize their lives and move forward. “The support of the city's armed forces in recent years has greatly helped the locality in building infrastructure, eliminating hunger, reducing poverty, and striving to achieve new rural standards by 2015. More importantly, the affection and admiration of cadres and people for cadres and soldiers is increasingly deep and strong…”, Party Secretary Luu Ngoc Tu emphasized.

At the same time, the Party Committee - Military Command of the city pays great attention to building military potential, economic potential, and building the battle position in the defense zone. The unit regularly maintains on-duty activities, combat duty, training regimes, combat readiness; closely coordinates with agencies, departments, branches, grasps the local situation, the situation of the people and armed forces, proactively advises and proposes to the City Party Committee and People's Committee policies, measures to lead and direct the effective implementation of the task of building the Defense Zone.

In particular, the focus is on improving the quality of the regular force, militia, and reserve forces. The militia is built according to the motto of "strong, widespread", with sufficient quantity and reasonable structure and composition. Up to now, the city is one of the first units of the entire army to buy health insurance cards for 100% of the mobile militia force, contributing to motivating militia officers and soldiers to confidently perform their tasks.

Implementing the model of "Helping each other overcome difficulties, developing family economy", the Military Command of Le Loi Ward has contributed and built a fund of more than 50 million VND to visit and encourage militia officers and soldiers in the ward when their families are in difficulty, and support comrades who want to develop their family economy. Thanks to that, some militia officers and soldiers have somewhat reduced their difficulties in life, feel secure in their work and carry out their assigned tasks.

In building the defense area's posture, the City Military Command proactively advised the City Party Committee and People's Committee on policies and solutions to combine economic development with national defense consolidation; planning and building combat bases, rear bases, and logistics bases. Strengthening coordination with the police, border guards, agencies, departments, and branches to create a combined strength. A typical example is the "Self-management, self-training" model at the Military Command of Hung Loc commune, which has effectively coordinated the mobile militia force with the commune police to organize patrols to protect security and safety in the hamlet. Thanks to that, in recent years, there has been no loss of safety and security in Hung Loc commune.
