Do Luong Justice Department certified that Cong Phuong was born in 1995.
After receiving instructions from the Nghe An Department of Justice, yesterday, November 18, the Justice Department of Do Luong district went to the locality to check documents related to rising striker Nguyen Cong Phuong.
The inspection team compared and reviewed the original birth certificate, re-birth registration book, household registration book as well as Cong Phuong's primary school completion certificate.
Based on the recorded data, the inspection team led by Mr. Tran Doan Phu (Head of the Justice Department of Do Luong district, Nghe An province) confirmed that the above documents all consistently stated that Cong Phuong was born on January 21, 1995.

According to Mr. Phu, the date of birth on the birth certificate matching the original birth certificate is the most important evidence to prove that this citizen was born in 1995. He also said that before 1999, due to the weak capacity of officials and facilities, many localities could not keep records, leading to the same person having different dates of birth on many types of documents. Later, the civil status and judicial registration books were handed over to the district and commune for management, so they became more organized. These books were made into two volumes (the commune kept one volume, the district kept one volume), so there could be no errors or losses as before.
Regarding the fact that Cong Phuong's original birth certificate does not have a book number or a book number, Mr. Phu said that it may be due to the fact that the cadre previously held many different jobs and was negligent. In fact, not only My Son commune but also many other places in Do Luong have many original birth certificates that lack these two items.
Previously, Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc - Chairman of HAGL Arsenal JMG Academy, where Cong Phuong was a student of the first course - sent a request to the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Justice to investigate and verify the age of the former captain of the Vietnam U19 team. This player is suspected of being born in 1993, not 1995 as stated in the documents.
Yesterday, after completing the work, Mr. Tran Doan Phu's inspection team made a record and sent a report to the Nghe An Department of Justice about Cong Phuong's file, certifying that this player was born on January 21, 1995.
