Neymar heavily fined for ignoring ban
The striker born in 1992 was fined 3.3 million euros for not following the ban while building a villa in his hometown.
According toMarca, Brazilian authorities have fined Neymar 3.3 million euros because the player deliberately built an artificial lake in the garden of his villa in Rio De Janeiro.
While the villa was still under construction, authorities came to inspect and discovered something unusual, so they asked Neymar not to build an artificial lake.
The local government strictly prohibits illegal exploitation of water from rivers because this action can cause environmental pollution. However, the player born in 1992 ignored the ban. Even pictures of the Brazilian player relaxing in the artificial lake appeared widely on social networks.

In late June, Neymar's father was also arrested by police after an argument with Shayenne Barreto, the environmental secretary of the Mangaratiba region. Neymar Sr. was the person who directly supervised the construction of an artificial swimming pool at the family's mansion.
Neymar is expected to recover from injury and return to play for PSG at the beginning of the 2023/24 season. However, the French champions seem to want to quickly get rid of Neymar due to his high salary. In addition, the Parc des Princes team has also planned to build a new squad without Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in attack./.
