Women at all levels help more than 85,000 poor member families
(Baonghean)Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example, women's associations at all levels in the province have many highly effective activities, especially "following".
Along with the activities of contributing to support the construction and repair of nearly 520 "Shelters of Love", cadres and women's union members in the province have saved more than 8 billion VND in many ways to help each other develop the economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.
The model of "Bamboo Savings Tube" and "Rice Savings Jar" in Tan Xuan and Tan Ky communes was organized by the Provincial Women's Union to exchange experiences and promote replication throughout the province. Women's Unions of districts, cities, towns, and armed forces units quickly implemented comprehensive savings practices; built models of credit groups and teams, saving time, energy use, money, rice, and working days. Thanks to that, more than 85,000 disadvantaged families of union members were helped by union organizations in hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and improving their lives.
