Visiting the family of Ms. Le Thi Khuyen in Hamlet 8 - a typical example in the movement "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" of the Women's Union of Nghi Hop commune, we were very surprised. Because a few years ago, her family was a poor household in the commune, but now she has a farm with hundreds of chickens, pigs, and cows. Through research, we learned that this change was thanks to the fact that in early 2010, the women in the commune lent her 20 million VND to expand the scale of raising livestock and poultry. Thanks to her diligence, hard work, and the material and spiritual encouragement of the women, by the end of 2010, her family had escaped poverty. Up to now, the family's income from production and raising livestock is more than 40 million VND per year.

Not only Nghi Hop but also women in Nghi Loc district have participated in implementing the models of "Rice Saving Jar", "Pig Saving", "Saving Money Tube"... In 2011 alone, the total savings of the entire Women's Union reached more than 5 billion VND, an increase of 3 billion compared to 2010. This source of capital has helped 958 households escape poverty. Thereby, 185 models of women doing well economically have been built with an annual income of 50 million VND or more and contributed to reducing the rate of poor member families to 14.7% according to the new criteria.

Along with implementing the savings model at home, Nghi Loc women's union members also actively "raise savings pig" at grassroots women's union levels. At the same time, they mobilize agencies and businesses to help poor households build shelters of love. Up to now, Nghi Loc has supported the construction and repair of over 25 "Shelters of Love" for poor women and women in especially difficult circumstances.

Currently, Nghi Loc Women's Union is promoting propaganda work for each cadre and member to deeply understand the great values ​​of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. This is considered a regular activity and a criterion for scoring emulation of organizations and individuals, creating a strong change in awareness so that there will be specific and practical actions and deeds. Thereby contributing to building an increasingly strong women's union.
