Phu Quoc is in the top of the best winter tourist destinations in the world

The world-famous magazine National Geographic (USA) voted Phu Quoc as one of the 15 most attractive winter tourist destinations in 2014.

Recently, travel experts from the world-famous magazine Nationalgeographic have released a list of ideal destinations for winter travel in 2014. With specific instructions on time, how to travel, places to stay or attractive dishes, the list equips tourists with the best knowledge and luggage before making their trip. And among the 15 destinations suggested by Nationalgeographic, Phu Quoc Island (Vietnam) is honored to be in the top 3 destinations to visit this winter.

National Geographic magazine introduces: Phu Quoc is home to the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam. What makes tourists excited and impressed when coming to Phu Quoc is the warm blue sea water, deep, smooth sand and wild mountains. This magazine page suggests that the most interesting time to travel to Phu Quoc is from December to March with an average temperature of 25 to 27 degrees Celsius. In addition, visitors here should enjoy dishes caught by fishermen under the moonlight at Dinh Cau Night Market.

National Geographic calls Phu Quoc the "Fish Sauce Capital" of Vietnam. Phu Quoc's sweet and sour fish sauce was the first product to be granted European Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status in 2003.
