Effectively serving the work of preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Kim Lien Relic Site

On the afternoon of August 12, Kim Lien Relic Site held a conference to review 1 year of implementing the self-management model on security and order and celebrate the 14th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection.

Attending were representatives of the Provincial Police, Department of Culture and Sports, Nam Dan district and officers and staff of the Kim Lien Relic Site Management Board.

Kim Lien National Special Relic Site is where the most priceless and important artifacts about President Ho Chi Minh are kept. Every year, this place welcomes from 1.6 to 1.8 million domestic and foreign visitors to visit and study. With the special importance of the relic site, on August 7, 2018, the Provincial Police and Kim Lien Relic Site launched the 5-self model: self-management, self-prevention, self-defense, self-reconciliation, and self-crime reporting.

Every year, Kim Lien Relic Site welcomes nearly 2 million visitors.

After 1 year of implementing the model, it has created a positive effect among the masses, through which people have increasingly participated directly and more actively in security and order protection activities at Kim Lien Relic Site, contributing to building and consolidating a solid people's security foundation, effectively serving the work of preserving and promoting President Ho Chi Minh's cultural heritage at Kim Lien.

After being put into operation, the model has achieved many remarkable results such as: propagating to raise awareness of ensuring security and order for officers and employees of the relic site; providing 35 valuable sources of information related to heresy, leaflet distribution, theft...; organizing fire prevention and fighting training and implementing fire prevention and fighting plans in the areas of Lang Sen and Hoang Tru; taking care of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Hoa, taking care of 5 students with especially difficult circumstances; participating in contributing to the construction of new rural areas...

Since the launch of the self-management model on security and order, security and order in the area managed by Kim Lien Relic Site has been maintained, no cases of leaflet scattering, fires, explosions... theft of artifacts have occurred, environmental sanitation has been ensured, and the close relationship and solidarity between the people has been strengthened.

Representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports presented Certificates of Merit to individuals.

On this occasion, the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 5 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the self-management model on security and order.
