Hung Phuc Ward received the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Public Security

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 26, the People's Committee of Hung Phuc ward, Vinh city organized a summary of national defense work -security2014, deploying tasks for 2015 and receiving the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Public Security.

In 2014, the national security work of Hung Phuc ward, Vinh city continued to be maintained and consolidated: local military work and the movement of the whole people to protect national security were promoted; political security was maintained, crime, drug abuse, and social evils were contained and pushed back. The whole ward had 2,316/2,565 households achieving 5 self-management contents. The ward police and functional forces investigated and clarified 25 criminal cases, arrested 48 subjects, recovered assets worth more than 200 million VND and returned them to the victims. The training of reserve militia and reserve mobilization was improved in quality, 100% of citizens complied well with the call for preliminary selection, medical examination and military enlistment.

National defense and security work has contributed positively to the implementation of local socio-economic targets. With many outstanding achievements in recent years, Hung Phuc ward was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Ministry of Public Security, the leading unit in the movement to protect national security in 2014.

Deploying the tasks of 2015, Hung Phuc ward is determined to effectively carry out the peak period of preventing attacks and cracking down on crimes to ensure security and order during the Lunar New Year; strictly implement the Government's directives and decrees on banning the trading, production, storage and burning of firecrackers in the area.
