* On the afternoon of April 4th,The delegation from the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy worked with the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.To survey the socio-economic development situation of the province in 2024 and the research, application, and creative development of Ho Chi Minh's ideology in the đổi mới (renovation) period.
Speaking at the working session, Professor Dr. Le Van Loi - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy - assessed that the process of researching, applying, and developing Ho Chi Minh's thought in Nghe An province is very creative, focusing on the core of Ho Chi Minh's thought, concentrating on the three breakthroughs in the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, and taking into account the development thinking and outstanding driving forces of the province.

* On the morning of April 4th, DThe working group of Government members worked online.The meeting focused on the situation of production, business, investment, construction, and import-export in the localities of Nghe An, Ha Nam, and Thanh Hoa. Comrade Dao Ngoc Dung, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religion, and Member of the Government, chaired the meeting.
Reporting at the meeting, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, Le Hong Vinh, said that despite many difficulties and challenges, the socio-economic development situation in the first quarter of Nghe An province achieved many positive results.

The delegation, led by Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, held working sessions in two districts.Que Phong,Quy Chau.
Comrade Bui Thanh An inspected several construction projects in the two districts. He acknowledged the efforts of the localities and requested that they promptly implement administrative unit restructuring plans, promote socio-economic development, accelerate public investment disbursement, actively reform administrative procedures, and pursue digital transformation.

Working withYen Thanh districtOn the afternoon of April 4th, Comrade Nguyen Van De - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - requested the district to continue focusing on implementing comprehensive and decisive solutions to promote the socio-economic development of the locality, contributing to the province's double-digit growth target.

He suggested that the Party Committee and the government of Quynh Luu district select key directions and tasks to focus on in the second quarter of 2025, prioritizing key areas and avoiding a scattered approach.

* Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of Working Group No. 5 - led the delegation that worked withCon Cuong districtandDo Luong.
Before working with the district leaders, Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh and the delegation inspected the construction progress of several construction projects.
During the working sessions, Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh presented several guiding principles and ideas from the Central and provincial authorities regarding the reorganization of commune-level administrative units, as well as emphasizing the urgent need for time. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also provided specific guidance on the plan for reorganizing and merging communes; and requested that the districts continue to review the current situation of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in the political system to develop a specific and detailed plan for reorganization and placement, paying attention to establishing standards and criteria to ensure that the reorganization and placement of cadres is open and transparent.

* First quarter of 2025,Nghe An province continues to make significant improvements.The investment and business environment has been improved, supporting enterprise development. * In preparation for this year's enrollment season, the Provincial People's Committee has issued a Decision approving...Admission plan for grade 10 in ethnic boarding high schools and grade 6 in ethnic boarding junior high schools.Accordingly, for the 2025-2026 school year, the Provincial Ethnic Boarding High School will enroll 7 classes of 10th grade students with 245 students (35 students per class). The Ethnic Boarding High School No. 2 will enroll 6 classes of 10th grade students with 210 students (35 students per class).

* Abandoning traditional crops with low yields, farmers in Nghe An are switching topotato farming cooperativeIt generates 1.5 times more income than growing peanuts, corn, etc.
The integrated potato production model in Dien An commune (Dien Chau district) was implemented in 2021 with a trial planting area of 1 hectare. By the 2025 winter-spring season, the area had increased to 20 hectares. Mr. Truong Van Thang – Director of Dien An Cooperative – said: “This increase in area reflects the effectiveness and economic potential of the integrated model. In the future, the potato planting area will be further expanded, attracting more households to participate.”
