Nghe An: Highlights of September 28th
Leaders from the Ministry of National Defense and Nghe An province inspected and directed the response to Typhoon No. 10; localities implemented a comprehensive range of solutions to respond to Typhoon No. 10... these are some of the highlights of the day.
* On the morning of September 28th,Ministry of Defense inspection teamA delegation led by Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, inspected the response to Typhoon No. 10 in Nghe An province.
* On the morning of September 28th,Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung- The Provincial Party Secretary and the provincial delegation inspected and directed the response to Typhoon No. 10 at the Lach Lo anchorage and storm shelter area and Nghi Quang sluice gate in Trung Loc commune; Cua Lo Port and the sea embankment system in Cua Lo ward; inspected the evacuation of people in Cua Lo ward, Truong Vinh ward, and Thanh Vinh ward; and inspected the drainage and flood control work at Rao Dung sluice gate and Ben Thuy pumping station.
* On the morning of September 28th,Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu- The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, along with a delegation, inspected and directed the response to Typhoon No. 10 (Typhoon Bualoi) at the Lach Van anchorage and storm shelter area; the Dien Thanh sluice gate; inspected the Kim - Hai - Hung sea dike system; and reviewed the relocation and evacuation of residents in several vulnerable localities.

Also on the morning of September 28th,Comrade Le Hong Vinh- The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected and directed the response to Typhoon No. 10 at the Lach Corn and Lach Quen anchorage and shelter areas; Quynh Phu commune; and in Hoang Mai, Tan Mai, and Quynh Mai wards; and the operation and safety of the Vuc Mau water reservoir.
* On the afternoon of September 28, the Government's Forward Command held a meeting, combining in-person and online participation.Emergency response to Typhoon No. 10 is being implemented..
* With a proactive approach from early on and from afar, drawing on the experience gained from responding to Typhoon No. 5 at the end of August 2025,local police forcesIn Nghe An province, many measures are being implemented simultaneously to respond to Typhoon No. 10. The highest priority is to protect the lives and property of the people and minimize damage caused by the typhoon.
* On the morning of September 28th, the authorities of Hung Nguyen Nam commune (Nghe An province) urgently took action.relocation assistanceAll eight households, comprising 40 people, in Xuan Lam 2 fishing village, who lived on boats and makeshift shelters near the Lam River, safely moved ashore before Typhoon No. 10 made landfall.
