With the spirit of early and remote initiative, based on the experience in responding to storm No. 5 at the end of August 2025, the local police forces in Nghe An are synchronously deploying many solutions to respond to storm No. 10. The highest goal is to protect people's lives and property, minimizing damage caused by the storm.

Identifying that some coastal residents often have a subjective mentality, when there was news that storm No. 10 was likely to make landfall directly in Nghe An, Trung Loc Commune Police called on boats to urgently take shelter. For aquaculture households, the Police force supported and propagated the good implementation of the work of securing and anchoring cages and rafts to minimize the damage caused by the storm. By 2:00 p.m. on September 27, all response work to storm No. 10 in this locality had been completed.

In the central wards of Nghe An province, since the evening of September 26, there have been heavy rains due to the impact of storm No. 10. With the motto that people's lives are the most important, as soon as they grasped the direction of movement and information of the storm, Truong Vinh Ward Police advised the establishment of 7 Working Groups to go directly to the grassroots to grasp the situation and proactively respond. Especially in apartment buildings with risks of insecurity, the police force has propagated and mobilized people to evacuate. For cases of intentional non-compliance, the Ward Police have resolutely coordinated to enforce to ensure the safety of people's lives.

Storm No. 10 is a strong storm, moving very quickly. To proactively respond to the storm, the Director of Nghe An Provincial Police Department has urgently directed and requested the entire standing force to proactively deploy measures; directed the police units in the province to highly concentrate on implementing storm prevention and control plans, proactively securing houses, protecting property, vehicles, files and documents, ensuring security and order in the area, safety of detention facilities, not allowing prisoners and inmates to escape from temporary detention centers; preventing criminals from taking advantage of storms and rains to steal and destroy property; especially concentrating maximum forces and vehicles, ready to respond to storm No. 10, with the highest goal of ensuring the safety of people's lives and property.

Accordingly, the Provincial Police Director requested the local police units to urgently deploy storm prevention and control measures, with the motto "4 on-site, 3 ready" and the action slogan "When people need, when people are in trouble, there is the police". Ensure readiness to handle all arising situations, contributing to minimizing damage caused by storms.

In particular, pay special attention to traffic diversion and route diversion plans, ensuring traffic order and safety on key routes; promptly detect and handle congestion and landslides caused by storms and rains.
