QK 4: More than 155 million VND allocated to support ethnic minorities

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to create conditions for ethnic minorities to celebrate the Year of the Horse 2014, the Military Region 4 Command has decided to allocate more than 155 million VND from the "For the Poor" Fund to support 597 ethnic minority households with especially difficult circumstances in the project areas of the Economic-Defense Groups in the Military Region (Nghe An 161 gifts, Thanh Hoa 161 gifts, Quang Tri 145 gifts and Thua Thien Hue 130 gifts). Each gift is worth 260,000 VND (including 10 kg of rice, 0.5 kg of MSG and 1 liter of cooking oil).

The Military Region Command assigned the above gifts to the Economic-Defense Groups to coordinate with local Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and organizations in the project area to directly deliver them to each household, at each concentrated point in the commune or village, to avoid loss or misuse.
