Military Region 4 holds traditional meeting on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 18, the Military Region 4 Command held a traditional meeting to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2014) and the 25th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2014).

Attending the meeting were representatives of the Department of Policy of the Ministry of National Defense, the Veterans Association of 6 North Central provinces and many heroes of the armed forces, retired senior military officers, and leaders of the Military Command of 6 provinces. Major General Nguyen Tan Cuong, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of Military Region 4 chaired the meeting.
