Through Facebook, arrest two subjects who caused more than 30 thefts and robberies

Khanh Hoa Provincial Police said on the evening of May 5 that their detectives had arrested a group of professional thieves and robbers in Nha Trang City, thanks to a citizen's report sent to the Khanh Hoa Criminal Police Facebook page.

The two subjects arrested were Le Ngoc Chau, 16 years old, residing in Vinh Truong ward and Le Trong Ha, 15 years old, residing in Phuoc Dong commune, Nha Trang city. In addition to the 3 Samsung G7, iPhone 5, and Oppo phones that the two subjects mentioned above stole and robbed, the detectives also seized a motorbike without a license plate that had been "modified" with some components to "race" speed in the cases of "eating away" the property of tourists.

Initially through investigation, Chau and Ha confessed that since the beginning of the year, they have committed more than 30 thefts and robberies in Nha Trang City. The property they stole and robbed was mostly phones and laptops.

Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department's Criminal Police Department is temporarily detaining two suspects Le Ngoc Chau and Le Trong Ha to further investigate and handle them according to the law.

It is known that since mid-April 2016, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police have set up a Facebook page and hotline to receive information about crime reports.
