After the “rainy season”, the seventh lunar month, which is said to have had a negative impact on purchasing power across the market, many car manufacturers in Vietnam continue to launch stimulus programs for customers.

Most recently, from September 16 to October 31, customers who buy Avante, Accent sedan and Accent hatchback (5 doors) models will enjoy a 20 million VND discount from distributor Hyundai Thanh Cong.

Previously, in August 2014, another Korean car company, Kia, also applied a discount program for the K3 and New Sorento models. In September, the manufacturer and distributor Thaco Kia continued to maintain the price incentive, although it "cut" the discount from 12-15 million VND to 8-10 million VND.

In the luxury car market, Euro Auto has just officially applied stimulus measures for both BMW and MINI brands.

From now until the end of the year, all customers using BMW and MINI cars in the Northern region will enjoy 20% discounts on replacement parts and polishing and interior cleaning fees, and 15% discounts on painting and bodywork costs.

In addition, customers using the express repair service (1.5 hours) will receive a gift of windshield washer fluid and a 10% discount on spare parts and engine oil.

It can be seen that, with the stimulus programs continuously applied by many car manufacturers, the purchasing power of cars has recently had a strong growth momentum. Even in August, which is the time falling right in the "rainy season" when purchasing power is weak, the sales volume in the whole market still achieved a growth rate of 59% compared to the same period last year.

Currently, the automobile market is also preparing to enter the year-end product season. This is always the most exciting time of the year with the appearance of new car models, mainly models classified as “strategic” by manufacturers and authorized distributors. Therefore, the series of stimulus programs continuously applied by car manufacturers is also considered to be “anticipating” the upcoming exciting period.
