Russian military destroyed Su-24 and 3 helicopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Russian Defense Ministry said that the Russian military destroyed a Su-24 bomber, two Mi-8 helicopters and a Mi-17 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force, as well as two HIMARS launchers at the airports, Sputnik reported on August 17.
The Russian Defense Ministry said: Tactical-operational aviation, drones, missile forces and artillery of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation destroyed a Su-24 front-line bomber and three helicopters of the Ukrainian Air Force, including two Mi-8 and two Mi-17.

The Russian military also destroyed two launchers at airports and a transport vehicle for the US-made HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, four launchers and two AN/MPQ-65 radar stations of the US-made Patriot air defense missile system, and the TRML-4D launcher and radar station of the German-made IRIS-T air defense missile system, which was also a launcher for the S-125 air defense missile system.
In addition, the Russian Defense Ministry also confirmed: "Air defense systems shot down two French-made Hammer guided bombs, 10 US-made HIMARS missiles and 35 drones, 10 of which were outside the special military operations area."
