Pakistani troops shelled six Indian border posts.

According to PTI's report on July 6th, Pakistani troops shelled six Indian Border Security Force (BSF) outposts along the border between the two countries in Jammu district, Jammu-Kashmir state, on the night of July 5th, forcing the BSF to retaliate.
A BSF officer in Jammu said Pakistani forces used light weapons and fired 82mm artillery shells at BSF border posts, causing panic among residents living along the area.
BSF soldiers on duty protecting the border with Pakistan retaliated, leading to clashes that lasted throughout the night until 5 a.m. on July 6th.
There have been no reports of casualties or material damage in the clashes so far.
