Since the beginning of this week, fighting between separatist militias and the Ukrainian army has increased significantly. "There is fighting everywhere now, combat units are actively moving. With a humanitarian crisis unfolding in our region, it seems that Kiev has decided to take advantage of the situation at all costs," said Andrey Purgin, First Deputy Prime Minister of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
Mr. Purgin added that there were residential areas where control had changed hands from one side to the other four times on August 11."./.
