(Baonghean.vn) - Major General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos said in an interview with NEWSROOM TV channel that the number of Russian drones is so large that they are everywhere on the routes, like "mushrooms growing in the forest after the rain".

According to Major General Sergei Krivonos, President Volodymyr Zelensky cannot solve the problem at the front, due to Russian drones flying along the entire front line.

"Ukraine is spending money on dubious things, and will continue to lose. And with the Russian military using drones at night, there will be no peace at night," said Major General Krivonos.

According to the general, the country's leadership is not investing in the development of the military economy, but instead in reforming Kiev. Mr. Krivonos added that the Russian army currently has an advantage over the Ukrainian Armed Forces not only in drones, but also in artillery.

"The government is not taking any steps to fix this situation. Russian missiles are flying everywhere, and they can fly anywhere. But the Kiev government cannot do anything, due to incompetence," said Major General Krinovos.

Meanwhile, Vasily Samovar, head of the aviation and air defense department of the third separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said in an interview with Ukrainian television channel Dnepr TV on December 26 that there are too many Russian drones, and "this is very scary."

The Samovar commander said it was impossible to escape from the Russian drones even at night, as they were equipped with thermal cameras.

At the same time, according to Samovar, countering Russian drones will only cause more losses for Ukrainian forces. He is concerned that new Russian drones with different operating frequencies will make Ukrainian electronic warfare systems less effective.

Earlier, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov said that drones have become an indispensable part of modern combat operations. According to Gerasimov, drones allow the Russian military to conduct reconnaissance around the clock and attack all military targets and equipment. Gerasimov noted that Russia is constantly improving its drones based on the experience of the special military operation in Ukraine./.
