Ukrainian army denies launching general offensive in the East
Ukrainian forces have denied accusations from pro-Russian separatists that they launched a new offensive in eastern Ukraine on November 6, insisting they are strictly adhering to a ceasefire agreement.

"We reject these accusations... we strictly adhere to the Minsk memorandum (on ceasefire). We remain within the pre-determined lines. We have not advanced," said Ukrainian military spokesman Vladyslav Seleznyov.
Earlier, Russia's RIA news agency quoted Andrei Purgin, Deputy Prime Minister of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, saying that the Ukrainian army had launched "all-out war" against separatist positions./.
