Military Region 4 inspects preparations for collecting martyrs' remains in Nghe An

On the morning of September 26, the working delegation of the 515 Steering Committee of Military Region 4, led by Colonel Dinh Xuan Huong - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Military Region, Deputy Head of the 515 Steering Committee of the Military Region, inspected the preparations for searching and collecting martyrs' remains in the 2025-2026 dry season at the Military Command of Nghe An province.

Receiving and working with the delegation, on behalf of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, there was Colonel Pham Dinh Trung - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, representative of the Standing Office of the Steering Committee 515 of Nghe An province; Heads of Departments and offices of the Provincial Military Command.

In the past time, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command - Standing Office of the Nghe An Provincial Steering Committee 515 has thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented documents, programs and plans on the work of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains. On that basis, the unit has developed a detailed plan, submitted it to the Military Region's Steering Committee 515 and the Nghe An Provincial Steering Committee 515 for appraisal; fully prepared forces and means, perfected the organization and staff, thoroughly grasped the tasks, and built determination for officers and employees.

The Provincial Military Command has directed training to improve military, political, technical, and civil mobilization skills, while organizing Lao language learning and understanding of the customs and practices of the neighboring country to serve the mission. Coordinated with the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Provincial Customs Department to create favorable conditions for the Gathering Team to complete entry and exit procedures. Up to now, 100% of officers and employees have received military training, political education, and Lao language learning; the preparation of vehicles, logistics, documents, and books are ensured to be in accordance with regulations.

Concluding the inspection, Colonel Dinh Xuan Huong - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Military Region requested the Provincial Military Command to continue directing the Collection Team to overcome the shortcomings pointed out by the Inspection Team; continue to organize additional Lao language training, and ensure strict mass mobilization work. The Collection Team needs to fully prepare facilities, means, food, records, and tomb maps to serve the task of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains in the dry season of 2025 - 2026.

The Provincial Military Command also needs to complete the Vietnam-Laos transport documents, ensure the safety of the vehicles, and complete all procedures when moving. During the implementation of the mission in Laos, it is necessary to do a good job of mass mobilization and foreign affairs; grasp the local situation, organize the search and collection of martyrs' remains to ensure efficiency and absolute safety.
