Military Region 4 presents "100 Dong House" to military families
As part of activities to celebrate the 67th anniversary of the Military Region's Armed Forces Traditional Day (October 15), yesterday afternoon, October 15, at Hamlet 3, Hoa Son Commune, Do Luong District, the Political Department of Military Region 4 held a handover ceremony of the "100 Dong House" to the family of Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Canh Hoang, a soldier of the Thao Nguyen Regiment, Division 324.
(Baonghean.vn) -As part of activities to celebrate the 67th anniversary of the Military Region's Armed Forces Traditional Day (October 15), yesterday afternoon, October 15, at Hamlet 3, Hoa Son Commune, Do Luong District, the Political Department of Military Region 4 held a handover ceremony of the "100 Dong House" to the family of Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Canh Hoang, a soldier of the Thao Nguyen Regiment, Division 324.

With the support of 50 million VND from the program "100 Dong House" of the Youth Union members, the Military Region's armed forces and officers and soldiers of Thao Nguyen Regiment directly built, after 2 months of construction, the house was completed ensuring proper techniques, quality and aesthetics. Deployed since April 2012, with each Youth Union member and youth in the entire military region saving 100 VND every day to build houses for soldiers in especially difficult circumstances, the house of Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Canh Hoang's family is 1 of the first 3 "100 Dong Houses" built as gifts for military families in the entire military region. This is a meaningful program with profound human values, demonstrating the actions of the youth in "Studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" that the Youth Union members and youth of the Military Region 4 are actively responding to.
