Military Region 4 - Viettel Group summarizes cooperation program
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of August 28, the Military Region Command and the Military Telecommunications Group (Viettel) jointly organized a review of the cooperation program for the 2012-2013 period and outlined the direction of activities for the 2013-2014 period.
In the spirit of comprehensive cooperation and coordination to improve the effectiveness of implementing central political tasks, over the past year, the two units have implemented many meaningful and effective programs such as organizing visits, medical examinations, providing medicine, and giving gifts to thousands of poor people in border areas; coordinating to organize military training, fostering knowledge of National Defense - Security for Viettel officers and employees; patrolling to protect fiber optic network infrastructure, stations, etc.
Major General Tran Tien Dung - Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4 and Colonel Hoang Cong Vinh - Deputy General Director of Military Telecommunications Group presented flowers to the singers.
Viettel has helped Military Region 4 deploy a video conferencing system for online conferences at 02 locations at the Military Command of Thua Thien Hue and the Military Command of Ha Tinh, along with 8 locations belonging to units in Nghe An province; expanding the network using Viettel services throughout the military region. In the coming time, Viettel will continue to provide financial support for Military Region 4 to serve CTĐ and CTCT activities, focusing on prioritizing investment in facilities to contribute to improving the quality of programs serving the Vietnam National Defense channel. The two units continue to promote the project of applying information technology to serve online meetings; enhance training in National Defense - Security knowledge for Viettel officers and employees, build a self-defense force in the telecommunications industry, etc.
