(Baonghean.vn) -In order toTo inspect the implementation of the 11th Party Congress Resolution, the 17th Provincial Party Congress Resolution and the resolutions and directives of the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee, today, July 23, comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee had a working session in Thai Hoa Town. Accompanying the Provincial Party Secretary were comrades: Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

Before working with the Town Standing Committee, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2012), the Provincial Party Secretary and the Provincial Working Delegation visited and presented gifts to two policy families in Nghia Thuan commune.

Next, the Secretary and the delegation visited a number of economic models such as: the Quang Tien pink grapefruit growing model of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thuy's family - Trung Nghia Block, Quang Tien Ward; the PQ1 tangerine growing model at the Phu Quy Fruit and Industrial Tree Research Center. Working with the Phu Quy Fruit and Industrial Tree Research Center (under the North Central Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology), the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the results of the Center and Thai Hoa Town in introducing new tree varieties to the area, contributing positively to increasing economic efficiency in the Phu Quy area.

The Secretary noted that the Center needs to coordinate with the provincial departments and branches in building the Quang Tien pink grapefruit brand and solutions to ensure sustainable development of fruit trees and industrial trees that have been successfully tested. The Provincial Party Secretary and the Provincial Working Group also inspected the land use situation in Tay Hieu commune, the irrigation system, and the irrigation capacity of Khe Lau and Khe Vinh 2 lakes in the area.

Working with the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee, Comrade Le Ba Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Town Party Committee, on behalf of the Town leaders, reported on the implementation of the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels and the management of natural resources, minerals and environment in the Town. After the Party Congresses at all levels, the Standing Committee of the Town Party Committee focused on directing the development of Action Program No. 01-CT/ThuU on implementing the Resolution of the 1st Party Congress with 8 resolutions and 22 projects; Action Program No. 06-CT/ThuU on implementing the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress focused on supplementing the "Master plan for Thai Hoa urban space to 2025 and vision after 2025"; "Plan to implement the national program and goals of new rural construction". Implementing Directive 03-CT/TU on "promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example", the Town has had many creative ways of "following", suitable to the actual situation in the area. Currently, Thai Hoa is focusing on implementing Resolution 4 of the Central Committee on "Some urgent issues in Party building today" and the national target program on new rural construction with practical results.

Thanks to the synchronous implementation of the Party's resolutions, the Town has achieved comprehensive results in the fields of economy, society, national defense and security, party building, and political system building. The economic structure has shifted positively, investment attraction has improved, infrastructure has been invested in, the urban character and appearance have improved, cultural, artistic, sports activities, and people's lives have improved.

Specifically, in 2011, the economic growth rate reached 17.9%/17% of the plan; the proportion of agriculture, forestry and fishery decreased from 13% to 12.7%; the construction industry increased from 37% to 41.0%; trade and services remained at 46.3%. Budget revenue reached 81.7 billion VND, reaching 113.9% of the plan, 4 times higher than before the establishment of the Town. In the first 6 months of 2012, although there were many difficulties, the economic growth rate reached 12.7%, many targets were achieved quite well compared to the same period and the whole year plan.

Concluding the meeting, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee and people of the Town in implementing the resolutions of congresses at all levels with quite good results: a good growth rate, building many economic models, resolving complaints and denunciations well, ensuring political security and social order... The Provincial Party Secretary also pointed out some limitations, that is, crop productivity is not high; innovation in economic development thinking is still slow.

In the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary directed Thai Hoa Town to focus on implementing Resolution 4 of the Central Committee in conjunction with resolving difficulties at the grassroots level. Accelerate the planning of Phu Quy area and specialized planning, paying attention to irrigation planning; continue to review existing land funds, improve the efficiency of land use, focus on land funds for new agricultural projects; continue to build technical infrastructure, creating a foundation for economic development; pay attention to the environment, especially waste in production, business and daily life; pay attention to religious issues, ensure security and order in the area; further improve the quality of building the political system, innovate thinking in awareness and economic development./.
