(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the program of meeting with voters after the session, on the afternoon of July 2, 2014, at Mai Hung ward, National Assembly deputies of Nghe An province at constituency No. 3 including Mr. Phan Trung Ly, Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Law Committee; Mr. Pham Van Ha, Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court, Mr. Phan Van Quy, Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of Pacific Group, met with voters of Hoang Mai town.

Attending the meeting were representatives of the People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of the Town and 175 voters representing communes and wards in the area.

In addition to amending and supplementing a number of laws closely related to people's rights such as the Law on Health Insurance, the amended Law on Marriage and Family, the Law on Nationality, the Law on Notarization, etc.; continuing to give opinions on a number of draft laws, etc. The National Assembly also spent time discussing and evaluating major national issues such as the situation in the East Sea, solutions for socio-economic management; questioning a number of ministries and supervising a number of major projects and programs on hunger eradication and poverty reduction, etc.

Voters of Hoang Mai town recommend that all levels should pay attention to investing in the system of cultural houses in hamlets; expand National Highway 1; reclaim land that has been allocated to people and compensate appropriately and fairly among households; need to direct relevant agencies to speed up the process of granting land use right certificates to people; improve the regime for those who worship martyrs; the quality of electricity supply has not met the requirements, there are frequent power outages, when cutting off electricity to repair and upgrade power lines, there must be a plan and notification to the people. There is a cement factory in the town, rainwater in the town is polluted, so the state needs to pay attention to investing in water plants; improve the quality of ward and commune cadres, use students whose children have expertise; some complaints and recommendations of local people are slow to be resolved; roads and infrastructure for people's children to go to school have not been invested in and upgraded, so flooding often occurs when it rains; Road construction units must be responsible for minimizing environmental pollution, reducing dust...

On the occasion of meeting voters and looking forward to the upcoming War Invalids and Martyrs Day on July 27, the National Assembly Delegation presented 25 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to families of martyrs and people with meritorious services in the area./.
