(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing to implement the voter contact program, on the morning of July 2, 2015, delegates of National Assembly constituency No. 1 had a meeting with voters of Bong Khe commune (Con Cuong).

At the meeting, delegates and voters heard reports on the local socio-economic, security and defense situation. Delegate Vi Thi Huong reported on the program and content of the 9th session of the 13th National Assembly. Accordingly, the National Assembly passed 11 laws, 9 resolutions, gave opinions on 15 draft laws and discussed a number of important issues.

Voters have made recommendations on a number of issues related to life such as difficulties in converting land use purposes, inadequacies in the cost of clean water for daily life, unclear electricity meter replacement, early construction of the road to the Southwest Regional General Hospital, water pollution caused by the pulp processing factory and the area around the Southwest General Hospital, issues of enjoying Program 135, loan term for poverty reduction, and lack of land to build community cultural houses.

Delegates of village 2/9 made recommendations on resolving shortcomings in land use conversion.

Voters of Vinh Hoan village petitioned to solve the environmental pollution problem caused by pulp processing.

In addition, issues related to stone and sand mining affecting people's lives, administrative boundary division, waste treatment projects in the area, and support for farmers affected by drought were also of interest to voters.

Voters' recommendations and questions are explained by local leaders and relevant departments within their authority. For complicated issues, they promise to receive, study, and seek opinions from superiors for resolution.
