(Baonghean.vn)-Continuing the program of meeting voters after the session, on the morning of July 3, 2014, at the People's Committee of Yen Thanh district, the National Assembly deputies of Nghe An province in constituency No. 3 including Mr. Phan Trung Ly, Member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Law Committee; Mr. Pham Van Ha, Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court, Mr. Phan Van Quy, Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of Pacific Group, met with voters of Yen Thanh district.

Also attending the meeting were representatives of the People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of the district and voters representing agencies, units and departments in the area.

At the meeting, Mr. Phan Trung Ly, on behalf of the National Assembly delegates in the group, briefly reported to the voters of Yen Thanh district the results of the 7th session of the National Assembly, emphasizing that although it took place in a context where the country and the region had some difficulties, the National Assembly met, discussed and passed many important contents. In addition to amending and supplementing a number of laws closely related to people's rights such as the Law on Health Insurance, the amended Law on Marriage and Family, the Law on Nationality, the Law on Notarization, etc.; continuing to give opinions on a number of draft laws, building a law and ordinance program for 2015. In addition to the law-making program, the National Assembly also spent time discussing and evaluating major national issues such as the situation in the East Sea, solutions for socio-economic management; questioning a number of ministries and branches and supervising a number of major projects and programs on hunger eradication and poverty reduction, etc.

The voters of Yen Thanh district recommended that the National Assembly continue to consider and give opinions to the Government to pay attention to the quality of university training, create favorable conditions in terms of mechanisms for children to have jobs in the locality after graduation; have more focused investment in public health facilities, meeting the needs of medical examination and treatment for the people; consider and adjust the increase in the regime for those who worship martyrs; continue to review the records of subjects infected with toxic chemicals, youth volunteers, not stop all records because of a few negative people...

Mr. Pham Van Ha reported and explained some issues of concern and recommendations to voters.

Based on the opinions expressed by voters, Mr. Pham Van Ha, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation, said: The contents related to the policy mechanism will be compiled by the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to reflect and discuss at the next session. The specific contents related to the authority of the province and district, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will have a document to assign and urge relevant agencies to handle.

National Assembly deputies Phan Van Quy and Phan Trung Ly present gifts to policy beneficiaries.

On the occasion of meeting voters and celebrating the upcoming July 27th, the provincial National Assembly delegation presented 25 gifts to poor households and meritorious people in the area, each gift was worth 1 million VND in cash.
