Pay attention to removing difficulties for rubber growing enterprises

Before working with the company's leaders, the delegation directly surveyed the production situation and rubber plantations in Thanh Duc commune, Thanh Chuong district. In fact, rubber trees in Thanh Duc in particular and Nghe An in general have shown very good development. The total rubber area planted in the three districts of Thanh Chuong, Anh Son, and Que Phong at this time is over 1,000 hectares, accounting for more than 13.98% of the total rubber area in the province. To plant that many rubber trees, the company has built hundreds of kilometers of mountain and hill roads.
Currently, the company has 330 staff and workers, with an average income of 4.5 million VND/month, and also creates regular jobs for 1,000 local workers. According to the plan, by 2014, the company will build a rubber factory to serve processing in 2015 when the first rubber trees are planted and exploited, and by 2016, mass exploitation; creating jobs for 5,000 workers.
However, the problem that makes it difficult for the company to continue planting rubber to reach the target of 10,000 hectares of rubber is the lack of land for planting. In Thanh Duc commune, due to the lack of land, there is currently a backlog of seedlings enough to plant about 1,000 hectares that the company must reprocess and take care of. In addition, there are some problems in the process of converting and merging some Youth Volunteer Teams; converting land areas in some forestry units in some districts.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Vo Viet Thanh highly appreciated the company's efforts and endeavors to develop the rubber project of the enterprise in Nghe An province sustainably. Regarding some of the company's difficulties and the delegation's responsibilities, they will report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and related departments, branches and localities to coordinate in resolving them. He also suggested that the company pay attention to ensuring policies for workers, creating conditions for workers to improve their income during the period of basic construction of the company. Pay attention to ensuring order and security in the area, especially drug abuse.
