Pay attention to fulfilling the "promise" after the People's Council meeting

Attending the meeting were leaders of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and the Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

The results of the activities of the Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council Committees in September were quite comprehensive in all aspects and fields of work. In particular, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council focused on directing the successful election of additional delegates to the People's Council of Hoang Mai town. The Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council Committees also performed their supervisory functions well by completing the program of supervision of the work of building, inspecting, reviewing and systematizing legal documents; the implementation of medical examination and treatment under the health insurance regime at non-public medical facilities; the fight against smuggling, counterfeit goods and trade fraud; the new rural program; policies to support poor households in housing and the arrangement and use of cadres, civil servants and public employees who are ethnic minorities... Through supervision, the Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council Committees promptly discovered many difficulties, obstacles and inadequacies that are being raised in practice to inform and make recommendations to the Provincial People's Committee, branches, districts and units; have a positive impact on the state management agency and the supervised agency itself.

Also at the meeting, based on analysis, dissection, and discussion, the meeting participants raised a number of opinions, namely the need to introduce a policy to attract, arrange, and employ ethnic minorities; re-study the policy to support agricultural development in a practical way to stimulate demand.... Urge the sectors to review reports, submissions, and draft resolutions expected to be issued at the 10th session of the Provincial People's Council at the end of 2013.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son emphasized: To continue improving the quality of the People's Council's activities, it is necessary to improve the quality of supervision and survey work of the Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council Committees. Therefore, in addition to supervision and survey of implementing agencies, it is necessary to pay attention to the subjects affected by mechanisms and policies. Supervision and survey activities need to be innovated, associated with supervision and survey so that the contents are supervised and surveyed more deeply and the nature of the problem is clearer. The Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Council Committees pay attention to monitoring and urging all levels, branches, agencies and units to fulfill the promises made at the previous Provincial People's Council session; resolve voters' recommendations and reflections as well as implement the Resolutions issued by the Provincial People's Council.
