Vinh University aims to become a multidisciplinary university providing high-quality human resources, a prestigious center for scientific research, application and technology transfer. Vinh University has set a vision to become a national key university by 2020, a member of the Association of Southeast Asian Universities.
In the strategic development orientation of the School for many years, Dai Hoa Vinh University has always focused on promoting international cooperation activities, training human resources not only for Vietnam but also for countries in the region.
For ASEAN countries, since 2003, Vinh University has annually received 60-100 Lao students sent by Nghe An province for undergraduate and postgraduate training. Currently, there are about 400 Lao and Thai students studying at the University. The University has cooperated and coordinated training with a number of foreign universities, typically the 2+2 English language training program with Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University of Thailand.
Since 2005, Vinh University has annually received 40-60 students from Rajabhat Maha Sarakham University to study the last two years of undergraduate studies and about 20 students to study Vietnamese in the short term. The University invites Philippine experts to teach English at the University, sends staff to study and research in Singapore and Malaysia; and provides training and human resources for VSIP Nghe An. The University is carrying out the necessary procedures to join the International CDIO Association and the Association of Southeast Asian Universities Quality Assurance Network (AUN-QA).
International cooperation activities have helped the School innovate training methods; improve content, teaching and learning methods; open new majors and training systems to meet the requirements of the labor market; contribute to helping the School implement administrative reforms, innovate management mechanisms; develop the team of managers, lecturers and staff.

In recent years, Nghe An province has stepped up investment attraction in new markets in the ASEAN bloc such as Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia. Currently, there are 12 projects in the province from Thai investors with a total registered capital of 218 million USD, and this is the leading country.
In particular, in 2016, Hemaraj Group of Thailand committed and was licensed to implement the WHA Hemaraj Industrial Park infrastructure investment project with an area of 3,200 hectares; total investment capital is expected to be 16,269 billion VND at Nam Cam Industrial Park, expected to start construction in October 2017. This is the driving force for world enterprises in general and Thai enterprises in particular to invest in Nghe An. In addition, the province also has very effective two-way trade cooperation with Thailand.
With Malaysia, we cooperate and have projects of Anco Nghe An Feed Factory in Zone C, Nam Cam Industrial Park of Anco International Nutrition Joint Stock Company with a total registered capital of 16 million USD (100% capital of Malaysian enterprises). In addition to traditional partners, the province aims to expand to countries in the ASEAN bloc.
Typically, like Singapore, we attract VSIP Nghe An project, this is the 6th project that VSIP has invested in Vietnam. The project has been implemented for 2 years, so far VSIP Nghe An will attract 10 projects with a total budget of 310 billion VND. The province has accompanied VSIP Nghe An to attract investment in Malaysia, Hong Kong, and at the same time, the province invited VSIP Nghe An and Hemaraj Group to promote investment in Korea and Australia.
For ASEAN countries, the province calls for attracting investment in high-tech, environmentally friendly light industrial sectors such as garment and electronic component manufacturing. ASEAN is also a dynamic market, especially in 2015 when the ASEAN community was established, tariff barriers were removed, creating favorable conditions for Vietnam in general and Nghe An in particular to develop trade and investment cooperation with members of the bloc.

Vietravel Nghe An's program activities in recent times have contributed to promoting the image of Nghe An, contributing to promoting the development of tourism in the province. In 2016, Vietravel pioneered the opening of a direct flight from Vinh - Bangkok through the form of chartering a whole flight, which was extremely successful, with the passenger rate reaching 96% per flight.
This flight route affirms the potential for tourism connection between Nghe An and Thailand, and is the result of the efforts of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and Vietravel, aiming to bring Nghe An's image to a new position, affirming Nghe An's leading position in the North Central region.
After the charter flight period, Vietravel and the People's Committee of Nghe An province continued to work with airlines to implement the plan to open regular flights from Vinh to Bangkok, and achieved very positive results. In seminars - roadshows in countries such as China - Thailand in 2016, Vietravel always supported in promoting Nghe An tourism to other countries, bringing a dynamic image of Nghe An, an attractive destination to foreign tourists.
Accordingly, Vietravel Nghe An's plan in the coming time will be to expand connections and open tours and routes with countries in the ASEAN bloc. Vietravel will continue to build new products from Nghe An to Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar with many diverse types of tourism at many attractive prices so that consumers have more choices when traveling.
In addition to traditional forms of tourism, following the modern trend, the Free Easy form is a new idea that meets the needs of young people with good travel knowledge, who want to explore many places outside of the usual tour. In addition, the unit coordinates with strategic airlines to research and open direct flights from Vinh to shorten the distance and meet the desire for convenient travel, saving time of people in Nghe An and the region.
