Promoting Vietnamese culture and tourism in Japan

On June 24, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and the NHK Cultural Center cooperated to organize an exchange program and introduce the country and people of Vietnam.

Speaking to more than 150 guests, Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Nguyen Phu Binh highlighted the cultural similarities between the two countries and highly appreciated the comprehensive development of the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan in recent times.

After Ambassador Nguyen Phu Binh's presentation on Vietnam's history and culture, guests listened to an introduction to Vietnam's tourism and famous landscapes and landscapes of the country.

Participants were invited to enjoy traditional dishes and performances imbued with Vietnamese national identity introduced by officials and staff working at the Embassy, ​​Vietnamese students studying abroad and some Japanese artists.

This program left a good impression on Japanese friends. Many participants expressed their desire to visit the beautiful and hospitable country of Vietnam. Ms. Yuko said: “Vietnam and Japan have many cultural similarities. Therefore, the Japanese people always understand the good feelings that the Vietnamese people have for Japan.”

Responding to reporters about the purpose of organizing this program, Ambassador Nguyen Phu Binh said: “In order for the political and economic relations between Vietnam and Japan to develop in all fields, enhancing mutual understanding between the people of the two countries is extremely important. We want to organize this event so that the Japanese people can better understand the country and people of Vietnam, thereby creating sympathy between the two sides.”

According to the plan, the Embassy will continue to cooperate with the Japanese side to organize the Vietnam Festival in Tokyo to introduce Vietnamese culture and tourism in mid-September.
