Quang Binh: Provincial cultural center on fire

At about 10:05 a.m. on April 4, the Quang Binh Provincial Cultural Center (Hung Vuong Street, Dong Hoi City) caught fire, burning down almost all the floors inside the building.

According to initial information, the fire started from the ceiling of the central hall, then quickly spread, at that time the center's staff were still working in the rooms in the building. In the hall, there were about 4 people decorating to prepare for a congress for a unit in the province.

The fire was discovered early, but the staff could not put out the fire because it spread too quickly, so they scattered and ran away. The fire then spread very quickly, engulfing all floors of the building.

Upon receiving the news, the fire police force was present at the scene, and fire trucks from Dong Hoi Airport were also mobilized to respond.During the fire, a loud explosion occurred due to the glass system in the building breaking. More than an hour later, the fire was basically extinguished.

Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee were also present at the scene of the fire to direct the handling of the incident.At the scene, the entire central hall and rooms on all floors of the building were completely burned down.

Currently, local authorities are working to fix the problem and investigate the cause of the incident.
