Coach Chu Dinh Nghiem of Hanoi FC unexpectedly let Quang Hai and Thanh Luong practice separately before the match with Quang Nam in round 12 of V.League taking place on September 26.

Quang Hai is capable of participating in the away match at Quang Nam FC.

3 days after successfully defending the National Cup, Hanoi FC returned to training. In this training session, Hanoi FC's coaching staff asked the players to do light exercises, pass the ball over obstacles, and divide into teams for practice matches.

A notable detail is that two important players of Hanoi FC, Quang Hai and Thanh Luong, have to practice separately. That makes the capital team's fans worried about the absence of this duo, especially Quang Hai.

Female player Huynh Nhu will go to Portugal to play football.

According to coach Doan Thi Kim Chi of Ho Chi Minh City I, Vietnamese female players going abroad will bring a more positive signal to women's football in our country.

This female coach shared: “Currently, the Portuguese club Lank has sent a document to the club. The team has submitted it to the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City. If all goes well, Huynh Nhu’s next step will be to apply for a visa to play football in Portugal.”

Coach Doan Thi Kim Chi said: "In my opinion, going abroad is a good opportunity for them to reevaluate themselves as well as open up a path for future female players. If Huynh Nhu, Hai Yen or Tuyet Dung go abroad, even if they do not play really well, from a certain perspective, people will still know a lot about Vietnamese women's football. Of course, in a more positive situation, if they play well, then on that momentum, young Vietnamese players will use that as motivation to strive."

De Bruyne, Lewandowski and Neuer battle for UEFA Player of the Year award

Three stars Kevin De Bruyne (Man City), Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich) and Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich) will compete for the title of UEFA Player of the Year 2019/20.

Lewandowski and Neuer are on track to win the UEFA Best Player award.

The three-player shortlist was selected by a jury comprising 80 coaches from the clubs involved in the 2019/20 Champions League (32) and Europa League (48) group stages, along with 55 journalists selected by the UEFA Sports Media Group (ESM), one from each UEFA member association.

Wolves could field an all-Portuguese squad

Wolves have completed the signing of full-back Nelson Semedo from Barca, meaning manager Nuno Espirito Santo can now field an all-Portuguese squad.

With the addition of Semedo, Wolves continue their Portugueseization of the team.

Semedo has 13 caps for Portugal, has won 10 major trophies in three seasons at Barca and would be a quality addition to Wolves this season.
