Quang Hai received a text message of encouragement from the French player

"Hi. I came to watch the match yesterday and I have to say that I really liked the way you played. Keep up the good work. I will be at the stadium again on Thursday to support you. My grandmother is 100% Vietnamese so I have a special love for your country. Have a nice day," Yohan Cabaye texted Quang Hai onInstagram.

The message was published by Quang Hai on his personal page this afternoon, January 22. The 2018 Vietnamese Golden Ball also replied to Cabaye: "Thank you Yohan, hope to see you again soon."

Quang Hai's post immediately received thousands of likes, along with comments expressing surprise, congratulations and encouragement for the Vietnamese striker.

On January 20, Cabaye went to Al Maktoum Stadium to witness Vietnam defeat Jordan in the round of 16. "I definitely won't miss the chance to see the Vietnamese team play. Vietnam is very special to me. Grandma, I love you so much," the French player posted on social media.Instagram, with a picture of him sitting behind goalkeeper Dang Van Lam's goal in the first half.

Yohan Cabaye was born in 1986 and was a star of French football from 2011 to 2015. He was once pursued by many big clubs in the Premier League but joined Newcastle, before playing for PSG in the 2014-2015 season. Cabaye currently plays in Dubai for Al-Nasr Club.

He played 48 times for France and was a mainstay of the team at the 2014 World Cup.
