At the moment, Man Utd are actively reforming the squad after a poor season. Coach Erik Ten Hag has made a list of transfer targets this summer, and the name Frenkie de Jong is one of the players he wants first. Immediately after taking over as Man Utd head coach, Ten Hag publicly announced his intention to recruit De Jong to supplement the team's midfield after Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba left.
In addition to Frenkie de Jong, the Old Trafford team is said to be pursuing many other players such as Feyenoord left-back Tyrell Malacia, central defenders Nicolas Tagliafico - Lisandro Martinez, Ajax Amsterdam midfielder Antony and Brentford midfielder Christian Eriksen.
Cristiano Ronaldo's future is also in question as Man Utd failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season. However, the new Red Devils coach has stated that he does not want to sell the Portuguese superstar in this summer's transfer window.
U23 Vietnam proposed to play V-Leagueas an independent team
Nutifood sent a proposal to VFF to build a new mechanism, allowing U23 Vietnam to participate in V.League as an independent team.
In an official dispatch sent to VFF on June 28, Nutifood proposed a bold idea: Sponsoring all expenses for U23 Vietnam to participate in V.League. This unit affirmed that the sponsorship would take place continuously for 3 years, since VFF had agreed in writing. In addition, this unit also invited more sponsors for U23 Vietnam to play in V.League.
Nutifood's official dispatch stated: "Over the years, we have also continuously accompanied many sports organizations, sponsoring many domestic and international football tournaments. Like the football of many countries in the world, the U23 team often gathers players who have just reached maturity in both form and stature, the closest successor to the national team. After many years of competing in youth tournaments, at this age, players need more exposure in professional tournaments to mature and improve.
However, the reality shows that the playersU23 Vietnamhave not really had many opportunities to play in major tournaments. According to information from the press, in the list of 23 U23 Vietnam players participating in the 2022 U23 Asian Finals, there are 16 players playing for clubs in the V.League. However, the number of players who can earn a starting position can be counted on the fingers. With the goal of giving U23 players more opportunities to play in major domestic tournaments, Nutifood respectfully proposes that the VFF build a new mechanism, allowing the U23 Vietnam team to compete in the V.League as an independent team.

This is one of the solutions to help players quickly mature and become more confident. Timely investment in U23 Vietnam from now on will contribute to creating a generation of young players who will be a solid successor to Vietnamese football, aiming to compete in major tournaments at the continental and international level. If the VFF approves this proposal, Nutifood commits to being the unit that sponsors all costs for the U23 Vietnam team to participate in the V.League. This sponsorship will take place continuously for 3 years, from the time the VFF has a written decision of agreement. After that time, Nutifood will continue to call on businesses to join us in realizing the goal of building U23 to become the backbone of Vietnamese football."
This idea comes from the fact that U23 Vietnam players do not have many opportunities to play for their home clubs. Specifically, 16 out of 23 U23 Vietnam players are playing in V.League 1 and V.League 2. However, their appearance on the field is insignificant.
If this plan is approved, it will be a big step forward in the development of youth football in Vietnam.
