Manchester City have been accused more than 100 times of breaching Premier League financial rules, and are at risk of being thrown out of the competition if found guilty.

According to the Daily Mail, the tournament organizers investigated Man City and discovered violations between September 2009 and the 2017-2018 season.

The investigation began in late 2018, after German investigative newspaper Der Spiegel published confidential Football Leaks documents that revealed serious financial irregularities at Man City.

Specifically, the defending champions were accused of more than 100 breaches of Premier League financial rules, involving sponsorship deals, secret contracts and breaking rules on recruiting players.

A panel independent of the Premier League will be appointed to handle the proceedings privately and confidentially. The panel's final decision will be published on the league's website.

If found guilty, Manchester City could be docked points or, more seriously, expelled from the Premier League.

This is not the first time Manchester City has faced financial sanctions.

In February 2020, Man City were fined £25 million by UEFA and banned from the Champions League for failing to comply with Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations. However, the Etihad team later appealed and only had to pay £9 million and were still allowed to play in the Champions League.

This season, Manchester City is ranked 2nd in the Premier League with 45 points, 5 points behind Arsenal. Most recently, they just suffered a 0-1 defeat against Tottenham in round 22.

Tien Linh ranked 29th in the 2022 Asian Golden Ball award

Tien Linh received 1 point from the judges at the 2022 Asian Golden Ball voting contest and ranked only 29th, according to the results on China's leading sports daily Titan Sports.

The other two people with the same score as Tien Linh are Akihiro Ienaga, a Japanese striker playing for Kawasaki Frontale Club, and Mohammed Al-Owais, a Saudi Arabian goalkeeper for Al-Hilal. This is the second time Tien Linh has been nominated. In the 2021 poll, Tien Linh ranked 22nd with 2 votes.

The striker of Binh Duong Club is unlikely to create a surprise in this year's vote because the gap in skill level between Vietnam and the top teams in Asia is still very large.

Previously, Tien Linh and Teerasil Dangda of Thailand received the title of Top Scorer.AFF Cup 2022. He helped Vietnamese football make history when for the first time a player won the Golden Boot award in an AFF Cup. In the V-League, Tien Linh also ended the 2022 season successfully with 9 goals, ranking 2nd in the list of best domestic strikers.

Following Son Heung Min is Mehdi Taremi (Iranian national team and Porto striker) with 120 points, followed by Salem Al-Dawsari (Saudi Arabia striker and currently playing for Al Hilal) with 112 points.

The Asian Golden Ball Award has been founded and awarded by sports daily Titan Sports since 2013. In the past, Vietnamese striker Quang Hai received 13 points and ranked 15th in 2018.

Quang Hai moves to Pau FC's B team, plays in the French 5th division

Midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai was sent down to Pau FC's reserve team by coach Didier Tholot to play in the French 5th division with Neuville.

After an impressive initial period, Quang Hai's journey at Pau FC is more uncertain than ever. Slow adaptation in his first time playing abroad, and his physical and fitness deficiencies have made it impossible for the midfielder of the Vietnam National Team to find a place in Pau's first team as expected.

Not only that, in the latest development, Quang Hai was sent down to the reserve team by Coach Tholot to play in the French 5th division.

He was placed in the starting lineup against Neuville in the 14th round of Championnat National 3. Quang Hai played hard but continued to not leave any significant impression. He was replaced in the 82nd minute and the match ended with a score of 0-0.

Along with Quang Hai, there are 2 players from the Pau first team who play for the B team, Paul Meliande and Loick Lespinasse. These are players who rarely play in Ligue 2 like Quang Hai.

With a playground like the French 5th division, if Quang Hai continues to be lackluster, it will be difficult for him to gain the trust of Coach Tholot, if not to say that his journey in Europe could be severely affected.

Quang Hai's poor form in France also made him lose himself when he returned to the Vietnam National Team. At the recent AFF Cup 2022, despite high expectations, Quang Hai played poorly and only contributed 1 assist.

Van Hau and Viet Anh are still old enough to attend ASIAD 2023

Host China will allow teams to compete in the men's football event of the 2022 Asian Games (ASIAD) this year with players aged 24 and under, while keeping three over-age slots.

According to Hangzhou China, China (host of the 2022 Asian Games) decided to limit the age of participation in men's football to U24 instead of U23 as usual and keep 3 overage slots. Thus, players born from January 1, 1999 such as Doan Van Hau, Bui Hoang Viet Anh, and Nham Manh Dung can still participate in the tournament.

This change comes from the postponement of the 2022 ASIAD from last year to this year due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Through the Olympic Committee of Asia (OCA), host China has changed the age limit to ensure the rights of participating teams. Previously, the men's football event of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics was postponed to 2021 and also changed the age limit for men's football to "U24 + 3".

ASIAD 2022 is the 19th Asian Games, taking place from September 23 to October 8 in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province (China). This time coincides with the 2023/24 season of Vietnamese professional football. The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) and the clubs will have to calculate.

At the most recent ASIAD in 2018 in Indonesia, the Vietnamese Olympic team under the leadership ofCoach Park Hang-seoreached the semi-finals for the first time and lost 1-3 to Son Heung-min's South Korea, who later won the Gold Medal. In men's football at the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam, the age limit for participation was raised to U23+3 because the tournament was postponed from 2021 to 2022.
