Around the clip "The Dilemma of a Lazy Person"

(Baonghean)Uploaded to YouTube on April 13th, the over-hour-long video, titled "Reflections on the Country's Education System," has attracted attention not only from a large number of netizens but also from professors, principals of prestigious high schools, and even the Ministry of Education and Training. To date, the video has garnered over 426,850 views, with the majority expressing agreement with the speaker's viewpoint.

"The Dilemma of a Lazy Person" is the confession of a 12th-grade student about the Vietnamese education system. The speaker in the clip is a male student with exceptionally excellent oratorical skills, from his words and speech to his gestures and facial expressions.

Although the points raised in the clip are not new, they have long been a concern for countless people dedicated to the country's education system. However, they have become captivating and stirred public opinion because they were presented so convincingly by a 12th-grade student! Commenting on the clip, many experts expressed their support for the voices of students who are directly benefiting from the country's education system, such as Professor Van Nhu Cuong, Principal of Luong The Vinh High School (Hanoi), Dr. Nguyen Tung Lam, President of the Hanoi Educational Psychology Association and Principal of Dinh Tien Hoang High School, and Le Truong Tung, Principal of FPT University...

For leading professors, or the Ministry of Education and Training, or individuals with a more thorough understanding of the country's education system, this clip is merely commendable.

However, it would be a mistake to underestimate the impact of these arguments on those who have studied, are studying, and will study at all levels of education in our country. Because they find empathy here. What would happen if many future generations were disillusioned with the state of education in our country? What would happen if the Ministry of Education and Training did not take sooner steps to bring about change?

Undeniably, the clip "The Dilemma of a Lazy Person" has had a positive impact, as repeatedly mentioned in the media over the past week. However, it would be a shame if all students only saw its persuasive side. The clip itself is flawed because it only contains demands: Learning should be like this, teaching should be like this, education should be like this... and blames the failure to meet these demands on those running the education system. You react to the education system creating passive individuals. But this very mindset of yours is passive, expecting and imposing everything on the Ministry of Education and Training.

In the video, when discussing how a person is educated, the student argues that it is entirely the product of the school system and excludes themselves and their families from this educational process.

I yearn for change, I yearn to express my opinions. But my opinions only make countless students feel saddened by the current state of education, instead of inspiring them to act and contribute to its advancement. Frankly, this is an overwhelming demand for a student, but it is necessary.

You have many talents, at least that's what we can see from the clip, and you call yourself a "lazy person." Personally, I hope you are also a dedicated and passionate "lazy person" who cares deeply about this country.

The shortcomings of our national education system have been recognized by previous generations of students and are now being voiced. Hopefully, succeeding generations will contribute to changing the country's education system!
