Que Phong: 2,910 farming households are good at production and business

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 29, the Farmers' Association of Que Phong district held a conference to summarize the movement of farmers competing in good production and business (SXKD) in the period of 2012 - 2014, setting out directions, goals, tasks, and solutions to implement the movement of farmers competing in good production and business in the period of 2014-2017.

The conference heard many opinions and discussions on good and effective practices, typical models that bring high economic efficiency that need to be widely replicated, at the same time paying attention to poor farming households, helping them escape poverty, and sustainably improve the country. Results of the farmers' emulation movement for good production and business in the past 3 years: The number of farmers registering for good production and business is 4,823 households, an increase of 4,316 households compared to 2012, the number of farmers achieving the title of good production and business is 2,910 households, accounting for 60.23% of registered households and an increase of 2,608 rich households compared to 2012.

The quality and effectiveness of the movement are increasingly developing, many large production and business models have appeared, with revenue of tens of billions of VND, attracting many workers to have jobs/models, outstanding models in different economic fields, such as: Raising buffalo, cows, wild boars, young pigs, black chickens (silk chickens), ducks with kneeling legs, porcupines, soft-shell turtles, parrot-billed turtles; combined VACR, passion fruit, medicinal plants bo bo (mac ca), cardamom; trading in gold, silver, precious stones, construction materials, buying and selling general goods...

Typical good production and business households: Households of Mr. Phan Van Thong, Ngo Quang Khanh, Nguyen Van Tien, Nguyen Thi Thuy (Kim Son); Thai Dieu, Ngo Thi Suu, Vi Van Van (Tien Phong); Ho Dinh Khuong, Le Van Hung (Que Son); Nguyen Van Tam, Nguyen Van Thanh, Lu Van Chien, Vi Van Du (Tri Le); Ha Van Tinh (Thong Thu); Vi Van Dien (Nam Nhoong); Lang Van Toan (Cam Muon); Luong Van Hong (Nam Giai) Nguyen Cong Tam (Chau Thon), especially typical of Mong people: Tho Ba Vu, Ly No Po, Tho Giong Nu... (Mong - Tri Le) each household has from 60 - 70 buffaloes and cows.
