Que Phong arrests buffalo thief

(Baonghean.vn) – Que Phong Police Department (Nghe An) has successfully cracked a case of cattle theft in the district recently.

According to reports from local people, in the communes of Cam Muon, Quang Phong, Chau Thon... for many consecutive days, many farming households let their cattle roam freely in the forest and lost their cattle, but the cause is unknown.



Subjects at the Investigation Agency

Through investigation, Que Phong Police Department has identified the suspects, including: Ho Van Luu (born in 1973) and Truong Van Son (born in 1975, both residing in Chau Dinh Commune, Quy Hop); Lang Van Man (born in 1981) in Cam Muon Commune (Que Phong). At the police station, they confessed to having committed many thefts with nearly 20 buffaloes in Que Phong District, transported them to Dien Chau District for sale, each stolen buffalo was sold for an average of 14 to 18 million VND.

The case is being further investigated by the district police.
