Previously, after surveying and learning about the preparation for the school year in the communes, the working group of the Que Phong District Party Committee directed and reminded the relevant agencies and localities to urgently complete the procedures for relevant parties to organize leveling and handling, but due to the slow progress of the handling, local leaders, schools and people are very worried. Currently, the children have been going to school for more than 10 days but the above landslides have not been fixed. The landslides belong to the Hua Na hydropower resettlement project, built on leveled ground with a height higher than the surrounding terrain, but most of them have not been embanked to prevent erosion, so the possibility of landslides is quite high.
Currently, along with the procedures to request the investor, Hua Na Hydropower Joint Stock Company, to establish a budget for the construction of anti-erosion embankments, Que Phong district has proactively allocated from the reserve budget to support communes in repairing severe landslides.
