Que Phong: Police received 2,500 letters denouncing crimes and social evils
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 10, Que Phong district held a ceremony to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 521/NQ-TTg of the Prime Minister on the National Day for National Security Protection.

Over the past 10 years, the police force, as the core force in the field of ensuring security and order, has actively advised the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the District People's Committee in developing and promulgating programs and plans to direct the implementation of the movement to build the entire people to protect national security and the National Day to protect national security. Thanks to that, the coordination between departments, organizations and the masses in protecting security has achieved remarkable results.
In the past 10 years alone, the police force has received 2,500 letters of denunciation related to crimes and social evils, of which 70% of the information was valuable, helping the police force fight and solve many cases. Mobilizing people to detect and hand over 400 guns of various types...
Besides, there are many typical advanced models in the movement to protect national security such as: "4 criteria club", "drug addiction treatment club", "drug crime prevention club"; youth movement not to violate social evils" ..etc.
It can be said that over 10 years of implementing the movement "All people protect national security", it has really contributed to raising awareness among cadres and people in Que Phong district about the rights and responsibilities of citizens in participating in activities to prevent, combat, detect and denounce crimes and social evils, contributing to maintaining security and order in the area.
The conference awarded certificates of merit to 15 collectives and 14 individuals who had outstanding achievements in 10 years of building the movement of the whole people to protect national security 2005-2015.
