Que Phong: Registering to concretize more than 2km of rural roads
Implementing the national target program on new rural construction, up to now, 13 communes of Que Phong district have registered to concretize rural roads with a length of 20,400 m. Of which, grade A concrete roads: 450 m, grade B concrete roads: 19,150 m, and limited grade B concrete roads: 800 m.

After the communes registered, the District People's Committee issued Decision No. 07/2012/QD-UBND on promulgating policies to support the implementation of rural traffic concreting. Accordingly, local people donated 41,241 m2 of land for traffic and other welfare works; mobilized local businesses to contribute 800 m3 of sand, stone, and gravel; mobilized 9,850 working days from the people. To prepare to serve the localities in pouring concrete on the road surface, the District People's Committee purchased 3 medium-sized concrete mixers and used 1 excavator from the district. Any locality implementing concrete pouring should register to borrow the machine.

In the past year, Que Phong district also allocated capital to support production development from the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, VND 678 million, to 6 communes: Muong Noc, Que Son, Tien Phong, Hanh Dich, Chau Kim, Chau Thon. During the year, the district also established and put into operation 4 agricultural and general service cooperatives.
