Que Phong: 2 children drowned while swimming in the canal

(Baonghean.vn)- Mr. Ha Van Xuan, chief of police of Chau Thon commune (Que Phong) said: At about 11:15 a.m. on August 19, in Quanh village, Chau Thon commune, a tragic drowning incident occurred, causing the death of two children.

The identities of the two children were identified as: Lo Minh Hang (son of Lo Van Cuong and Vi Thi Van) and Lo Gia Khiem (son of Lo Van Tam and Loc Thi Hang). Both children were born in 2011 and are currently studying at Chau Thon kindergarten.

The initial cause was determined to be that after going to school, on the way home, passing through the commune's water canal, the weather was hot and sunny, the two children took off their clothes to bathe and drowned, leading to death.

After the tragic accident, local government representatives came to encourage, express condolences, and help the families take care of the funerals of the two unfortunate children./.
