Que Phong: Two car accidents happened in two days

(Baonghean.vn) - In two consecutive days, two car accidents occurred on National Highways 16 and 48D in Que Phong district.

Accordingly, on the morning of December 3, a 24-seat passenger van with license plate 37B - 007.72 was traveling in the direction of Chau Thon - Kim Son on National Highway 16. When reaching the third bend of this National Highway (KM 262 + 520) in Muong village, Chau Kim commune, the brakes failed, the vehicle crashed into a row of signposts and then into a Tuy Duong road.

The accident caused the front of the car to be deformed. This stretch of road has long been known as the “slope of death” because of the frequent traffic accidents. Recently, on November 15, 2017, a serious traffic accident occurred on this same slope, killing a mother and her child.

Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on December 2, on National Highway 48D, section KM1+250, a pickup truck of Que Phong Telecommunication Center traveling in the direction of Cam Muon - Chau Thon, when passing through a curve in Na Lan village, Chau Thon commune (Que Phong), lost control and overturned into a field. The accident caused the vehicle's windshield to break and its roof to be dented.

Fortunately, both of the above accidents did not cause any human casualties.
