Que Phong: Support for households damaged by tornadoes

(Baonghean.vn) - In response to the damage caused by natural disasters, on the morning of June 2, representatives of Que Phong district leaders inspected, shared and supported affected households in Na Den village, Tien Phong commune. For households whose houses completely collapsed, the district provided 7 million VND in support, and for households whose roofs were blown off, it provided 2 million VND.

The tornado on June 1 caused the roofs of four houses in Tien Phong commune to collapse.

Heavy rain and tornado occurred on the afternoon of June 1 in Tien Phong commune, causing a lot of property damage to the people. In the whole commune, 4 houses were completely collapsed, 32 houses had their roofs blown off. The tornado also broke many trees and crops of the people.

Leaders of Que Phong district have directed localities to quickly organize forces to promptly support overcoming the consequences of the tornado, ensuring social order and safety, and soon stabilizing people's lives. At the same time, they have conducted inspections, statistics, and assessments of the situation and extent of damage in the locality.

In the recent past, Que Phong district has experienced 4 bouts of heavy rain accompanied by whirlwinds. Especially after the current prolonged heat waves, hail may also occur. Therefore, the authorities and people need to be proactive in responding to the current complicated weather conditions./.
