Que Phong: Training on new points of the Social Insurance Law

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 17, Que Phong District Social Insurance coordinated with the District People's Committee to organize propaganda and training on new points of the Vietnam Social Insurance Law. Attending the conference were representatives of the District People's Committee, representatives of agencies, schools, and businesses located in the district.

Overview of the training session

Currently, in Que Phong area, there are over 2,804 people participating in social insurance. Of which, 2,644 people participate in compulsory insurance and 160 people participate in voluntary insurance. Besides the achieved results, the implementation of social policies in the past time also has many limitations, in which the situation of unpaid insurance premiums is happening in some agencies, units and enterprises, affecting the settlement of policies for employees.

At the conference, the trainees were introduced to some basic contents of the Social Insurance Law. New points of the Social Insurance Law in 2014. Processes, procedures, documents, insurance regimes, sickness, maternity... Through the training course, agencies and units have grasped new points of the Social Insurance and Health Insurance Law to deploy and implement well the regimes and policies to ensure the rights of social insurance participants in the district./.
